Stunning native of Western Australia, with a stout trunk up to 4m high, and masses of grass-like leaves emerging from the centre of the plant. Very slow growing. Flower spikes up to 1.5m long in spring. Prefers full sun and good drainage. Drought and frost tolerant.

Stunning tall lily native to NSW, with 2m- long leaves up to 3m across. Flowers from August to February, with a 3m-long flower spike topped with brilliant red flowers. Prefers full sun and tolerates light frost.

Queensland Bottle Tree (Boab)

The name 'Bottle tree' is from it's characteristic trunk, which can reach a 2m diameter and a height of 18m. Found in central Qld through to northern NSW, the characteristic bottle shape stores water between the inner bark and the trunk. It starts to develop in approx 5 to 10 yrs. The tree is deciduous to semi-deciduous, also tolerant to a variety of climates and soil types.

Beautiful and distinctive cycad from Japan. Prefers full sun, but needs less water if grown in shade. Also tolerates light frost. Mature plants grow a trunk up to 3m, with a crown 2m across.
